- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in orzo and cook until lightly toasted, about 2 minutes.
- Add vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, or until orzo is tender.
- Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
- Make sure to stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- You can add grated Parmesan for extra flavor.
