- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- Cooked white rice
- Green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds
- Pickled vegetables (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking apart with a spatula.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve the beef over cooked rice in bowls.
- Top with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and optional pickled vegetables.

- You can add sliced sautéed mushrooms or vegetables for extra nutrition.
