- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups beef or vegetable broth

- 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook ground meat until browned. Add onion and garlic; cook until translucent.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
- Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat, stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

- You can substitute ground chicken or turkey for beef.
