Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda.
  3. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden edges.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on wire rack before serving.
